A woman and a man, Mananchaya Wanitthanawet & Cameron Wilson, have been found guilty of committing human trafficking crimes in the cities of Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, and Edinburgh. They sold sexual services from brothels using young women sold into slavery by their own countries.
Cameron Wilson is 30 years old.
Mananchaya Wanitthanawet, aged 40, and Cameron Wilson, aged 30, were found guilty at the High Court in Dundee on Thursday, 22 August 2024.
Mananchaya Wanitthanawet & Cameron Wilson will be sentenced is scheduled for a later date.
The crimes occurred from November 2019 to December 2020.
Detective Inspector Simon Murray stated that human trafficking is not acceptable in Scotland.
