Phillip Collins paedophile child sex offender

The Padgate Paedophile, Phillip Collins, has been incarcerated for transmitting an abhorrent sexualised image to an individual he presumed to be a minor.

Phillip Collins participated in inappropriate sexual conversations online and even deliberated about plans to meet with the underage girl.

Nevertheless, the 42-year-old was, in reality, engaging with an adult impersonating a minor online to apprehend digital child sex offenders.

He was then charged with attempted sexual communication with a minor and organising or enabling the commission of a child sex crime.

Phillip Collins was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, February 21, where it was determined that only immediate incarceration was suitable.

The court was informed that the repugnant sexual conversations occurred between January 3 and January 10, 2022.

The defendant from Padgate, Phillip Collins, being an adult, wilfully sought to communicate with ‘Miyah’ for the purpose of sexual enjoyment.

He perceived this individual to be a girl under 16; however, it was, in reality, an adult utilising a decoy profile.

The court was informed that Phillip Collins urged the girl to engage in self-directed sexual actions, conversed about sexual matters with her, transmitted suggestive communications, and sent an image of his genitalia.

During the conversations, the defendant was accused of deliberately orchestrating or enabling a meeting that would entail the perpetration of a child sex offence.

Phillip Collins, residing on Marsh Street in Padgate, received an 18-month prison sentence.

He received a sexual harm prevention order for a duration of 10 years and was mandated to comply with sex offender registration and notification obligations for the same timeframe.
