Alan Green rapist sex offender Eltham

Before raping a woman three times, a “dangerous” sex offender, Alan Green Eltham Rapist, attacked a woman crossing Blackheath and pulled a young woman on the phone into a bush in Greenwich.

Found guilty of three charges of rape, one act of attempted rape, and three counts of digital penetration, 39-year Alan Green has been imprisoned for 17 years.

Alan Green, from Thanington Court in Eltham, was prowling Blackheath joint at 4.30 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019, when a woman in her 50s passed by on her way to work.

He was seated on a bench and had a bike lying beside him.

The woman was not startled right away since she knew bikers were frequent in the region at that time.

But as she approached Alan Green, he got up and started marching towards her and shoved her to the ground, where he tried to rape the woman before riding off the scene on his bike carrying her bag.

The victim wrestled momentarily with Green to retrieve her luggage.

Terrified and traumatised, she then headed to her job and contacted coworkers who reported the police.

Alan Green struck once more in the early hours, almost three months later. Alarmed, a woman in her 20s was on her phone as Alan Green cycled past her before turning around while approaching a footbridge at Tunnel Avenue, Greenwich.

Alan Green grabbed the woman’s arm and three times raped her after dragging her into a bush despite her attempts to push him off.

Again, he fled on his bike on Saturday, June 2, just after 2 am. The victim could get home and notify authorities.

Forensic data pointed Alan Green as the sex offender.

June 19 saw his arrest at his house.

Alan Green was also given a four-year extended licence term when he was imprisoned on Monday, January 13.
