A trio of paedophile brothers has recently been convicted of many child sex offences committed in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, and Leeds between 1996 and 2010.
The filthy Miah brothers’ Grooming Gang perpetrated crimes on little girls as young as six or seven years old.
The maltreatment persisted for several years.
Shaha Joman Miah, the eldest brother, was convicted of eight counts of indecent assault, four counts of indecency with a child, three counts of sexual activity with a child, five counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity, nine counts of child rape, six counts of sexual assault of a child, and five counts of sexual activity with a child.
Shaha Amran Miah, the middle brother, was convicted of seven charges of indecent assault, seven counts of indecency with a child, one case of child rape, one act of kidnapping, two counts of intimidation, and one count of sexual assault.
Shaha Alman Miah, the youngest brother, was convicted of three charges of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
The malevolent triumvirate Grooming Gang is scheduled to be sentenced on February 21, 2025, at Preston Crown Court.
