A paedophile from Letchworth, Brian Melabiankis, has been sentenced to over two years in prison after admitting to several sexual offences.
Brian Melabiankis, previously residing on Marmet Avenue in the town, received a 29-month prison sentence at St Albans Crown Court on Monday.
The court was informed that the 25-year-old had perpetrated many child sex abuse offences, including the creation and distribution of indecent photos of minors, from October to December 2017.
In court, he admitted guilt to 19 charges: seven counts of distributing indecent photos, nine counts of producing indecent images, two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor, and one count of engaging in sexual communication with a minor.
Brian Melabiankis’ name was also included on the sex offenders register for a duration of 10 years.
