A Ledbury Paedophile from Herefordshire, Matthew Cale has been apprehended with a computer that he was prohibited from possessing.
The Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court was informed that Matthew Cale, a convicted sex offender and former football photographer, neglected to notify his offender management of his computer ownership, a stipulation of a sexual harm prevention order established in 2023.
Jack Taylor, for the prosecution, stated that Matthew Cale, 37, lacked a valid justification for not informing his offender manager about the computer.
He was discovered with the computer in November of the previous year, somewhat more than a year after the order was issued by magistrates in Hereford.
Matthew Cale, residing at Orchard Place, Ledbury, acknowledged one count of violating a sexual harm prevention order.
During a hearing in November, an order was issued to revoke Matthew Cale’s access to his desktop computer and rights, excluding his automobile.
He received an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and was mandated to pay prosecution costs of £85.
Matthew Cale, a former football photographer famous for capturing local men’s matches, was initially assigned the order following his attempts to initiate sexual communication with two minors.
He was apprehended for communicating with online decoys during a paedophile sting operation from December 2022 to February 2023.
