The Kidsgrove Paedophile, Paul Leon, a child sex offender from Newcastle-under-Lyme has been incarcerated. Paul Leon, 63, of Kidsgrove, received a 10-year sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday, April 17, after being convicted at trial of two charges of sexual assault against a female.
The assaults by Paul Leon occurred over five years ago, prior to the victim’s courageous disclosure of the events to another individual.
We commenced the construction of the case and interrogated Paul Leon while in detention. He refuted all allegations and persisted in his denial until a jury found him guilty after a trial in November of the previous year.
Paul Leon received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order as part of his sentencing.
After the sentencing, DC Daniel Pearce stated: “I am gratified that the jury discerned Paul Leon’s falsehoods and contributed to achieving a favourable outcome for the courageous survivor in this case.”
“We are resolute in our commitment to take robust action against sex offenders in Staffordshire and to provide extensive support to survivors.”
