Kevin Pexton Bransholme sex offender

An innocent woman was left astonished and frightened when a lewd Bransholme individual, Kevin Pexton, accosted her during a “completely arbitrary” and “disturbing” incident in her vehicle after she innocently visited a 24-hour petrol station.

Kevin Pexton inappropriately touched her prior to entering the rear of her vehicle and enquiring, “May we return to your residence, darling?” He caressed her calf and proclaimed, “I am viral.” All the girls desire me.

The defendant made an indecent proposal to the woman and exhibited inappropriate sexual behaviour until a guy who arrived promptly intervened and removed him from the vehicle, as reported at Hull Crown Court. Kevin Pexton, 37, of Kinloss Garth, Bransholme, Hull, confessed to charges of sexual assault, indecent exposure, and violence on September 8.

Ben Hammersley, representing the prosecution, stated that Pexton visited a 24-hour petrol station in the Hull vicinity during the early hours and approached the service hatch. He requested to borrow a mobile phone and used it to transmit a message to a woman. She did not respond.

Shortly thereafter, a vehicle arrived at the forecourt, occupied by two women. The driver observed Kevin Pexton and perceived him as merely “acting foolishly,” after which she proceeded to the service hatch.

Upon her return, Kevin Pexton was positioned at the rear door on the driver’s side. Upon entering the vehicle, he made contact with her behind. She entered the vehicle, but Kevin Pexton opened the rear passenger door and entered as well.

He enquired, “Shall we return to your residence, dear?” The wife expressed fear and instructed him to leave. Her companion approached the service hatch to request assistance. Kevin Pexton was positioned directly behind the driver.

She gazed forward instead of looking him while he positioned himself behind the seat. He caressed her leg and made an indecent proposal. He began engaging in a sexual act. The woman messaged her friend, who had proceeded to the hatch for assistance.

Kevin Pexton instructed the woman, “Turn around and gaze at me.” I am experiencing viral popularity. All the girls desire me. A second vehicle arrived, and the woman’s companion informed the driver of the situation.

“He extricated the defendant from the vehicle,” stated Mr. Hammersley. Kevin Pexton exclaimed, “It is consensual.”

A confrontation ensued, and the man attempted to subdue him. Mr. Hammersley stated, “The defendant was striking him with his fists.” “They fell to the floor, and the defendant bit his leg, causing it to bleed.” Subsequently, the police arrived.

The woman subsequently stated that the event had her “on edge” and instilled apprehension for her safety in her vehicle. She repeatedly experienced dreams, and the event from that night continued to resurface in her mind.

She disliked going out and felt exposed. “I experience anxiety, and this has exacerbated my feelings of unease,” she stated.

David Godfrey, in mitigation, stated that the “disgraceful acts” were uncharacteristic of Kevin Pexton. He possessed no prior convictions. “This is an anomaly,” stated Mr. Godfrey.

“This behaviour is unequivocally troubling and disgraceful.” This was shameful yet quite uncharacteristic.

It is extended. He concedes that his conduct that evening was inexcusable. He has committed a series of egregious errors.

Father of three Kevin Pexton had experienced job loss and a recent family grief. He had been in pretrial detention for approximately 11 weeks.

Judge Mark Bury informed Kevin Pexton: “This conduct is profoundly serious.” It was an arbitrary female. This behaviour is not solely directed against an individual you were acquainted with.

It is entirely arbitrary, offensive, and has inflicted considerable anguish upon her. It is scarcely unexpected that she intends to sell her car. She can no longer tolerate sitting in it. The incident repeatedly resurfaces in her mind, leaving her feeling anxious, if not incessantly, yet more than is warranted.

She was merely visiting a 24-hour garage to purchase a beverage or similar item. This occurred in a public setting during the late hours of the night. A passenger in the seat likely experienced significant intimidation due to the unfolding events.

Kevin Pexton had “no justification” for entering the woman’s vehicle. Judge Bury remarked, “She must have been petrified sitting there.”

Kevin Pexton received a 21-month prison sentence and now required to register as a sex offender for a duration of 10 years.
