Ezra Kenny Preston Rapist has been sentenced to over 18 years in prison for the crimes of rape and violence against a lady. Ezra Kenny, aged 34, committed the act of sexual assault against the victim at a location near Preston in April 2023 and recorded the incident using a mobile device.
The individual admitted responsibility for the crimes of rape, deliberate strangling, and two counts of assault resulting in actual bodily damage.
Ezra Kenny was sentenced to 18 years and seven months at Preston Crown Court. This includes a prison sentence of 13 years, seven months, and a five-year period of supervised release.
Ezra Kenny, who does not have a permanent residence, was mandated to enrol in the sex offenders’ registry for the duration of his life. Additionally, he was placed under an indefinite restraining order concerning his victim.
Det. Insp. Marcus Latham, from the South division Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Team, expressed his admiration for the victim’s courage in coming forward and reporting these crimes.
“She experienced a harrowing ordeal inflicted by Ezra Kenny, a highly dangerous offender.”
“I appreciate the punishment given to him, and I hope the victim finds comfort in knowing that Kenny will be incarcerated for a significant period.”
