A Rye Harbour Paedophile warehouse employee, Mark Stevens, documented himself committing sexual assault against a woman and subsequently disseminated the recording to acquaintances.
Mark Stevens assaulted his acquaintance while she was nude and perhaps asleep or unconscious at her residence in Rye on the evening of October 3, 2018.
Mark Stevens used his mobile phone to record his exploits and sent the footage to a number of contacts, but it was more than two months later before the woman became aware and subsequently reported it to police.
The 34-year-old, Mark Stevens, of Rye Harbour, was charged with sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration and publishing an obscene article.
Mark Stevens pleaded guilty to all three offences at Lewes Crown Court on August 5 and was sentenced to three years and nine months in jail.
Mark Stevens was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
Detective Constable Rebecca Dixon of the Hastings Safeguarding Investigation Unit said that the victim suffered 2a tremendous amount of distress and anxiety” and that “no one should ever have to endure what she did”.
