The police investigating a sexual assault on a Black Country tram have released an image of a guy they wish to interview. A sexual attack occurred aboard a train travelling from Black Lake in West Bromwich to Wednesbury on Saturday, August 3.
The sexual assault occurred just after noon, with the assailant reportedly disembarking from the tram at Wednesbury shortly after the event. The British Transport Police has released a photograph of a guy whom officers wish to interview on the incident.
He is a Caucasian male with short white hair and a goatee. He is depicted using circular spectacles and a blue blazer over a white shirt.

Transport police are asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward. A spokesman for the force said: “Do you recognise this man?
“Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a Midland Metro service from Black Lake to Wednesbury have released this image in connection. At around 12.20pm on 3 August, a man sexually assaulted a woman before getting off the tram at Wednesbury.
“Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation. Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 189 of 7 August.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
